Overview

A chapter-based VR shooter roguelite set in the brutal world of the Brazilian Cangaço. Players step into the boots of a spectral gunslinger, a ghostly figure bound with his eternal masks, journeying through the veil between life and death on a mission of redemption—or damnation.

Combat focuses on combining the magical effects of masks with the player’s firearms. This allows players to strategize, making each enemy type more vulnerable.

Mask Mechanics

The masks are supernatural items that grant players special powers. They are the most important elements in the game, essential for overcoming challenges throughout the stages.

1 - Passive Skill

Reveals the weaknesses of a specific enemy type.

Ex: Reveal the weak points of the “Sun-dried” enemy type.

2 - Magic Shot

Effects activated by holding and releasing the weapon's trigger.

Ex: Spawns a magical projectile that deals fire damage to enemies.

3 - Active Skill

Magical effect activated when throwing the mask or placing it on an enemy.

Ex: Turns the enemy into an ally when the mask is placed on them.

Cordel Cards

Cordel booklets are items found in the level, that grant buffs and advantages. When a Cordel's power is activated, its effect lasts until the end of the run.
